In order to avoid the unhealthy over-provision of forage and to create additional stimulus for movement, HIT offers time-managed automatic forage dispensers. For small and medium groups of horses that are being fed with loose forage, the stand-alone automated feeder Horseking Hay Portion Dispenser is ideal. For larger groups of horses or where large bales are used, the Horseking Roller Hay Dispenser is preferable.

Forage is provided throughout the day in small portions. By means of the feed computer, specific feeding times can be programmed; between feeds the horses have no access to the forage. This simple rationing system guarantees natural eating behaviour. It offers the stable manager the opportunity to monitor the amount of feed and regulate it.
